We are partnering with a Kenyan organization to adopt two kids through their Adopt a Child program. This is a program that helps kids who can't afford the co-pay associated with their cancer treatment.
We will follow two kids who were diagnosed with leukemia in 2019.
Victor Njugana is 12 years old and with lives with his family in Kinangop, Kenya. His whole treatment will take two years and involves both inpatient and outpatient care. He is responding well to the treatment.
Braffin Kipkirui is 9 years old and is from Bomet, Kenya. His mother is a single parent whose job as a teacher was affected by the COVID pandemic and has not been able to pay for the treatment. Our support will ensure he continues with treatment.
We will get quarterly updates about these two boys and will keep you updated.
